Fenwick history teacher Colby Burnett is schooling his opponents in the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions, and this week he won another round to make it to the finals. 

Burnett, an AP World History teacher at Fenwick High School, won the show's Teacher's Tournament and $100,000 in prize money back in November, and he's rolling again in this tournament.

The grand prize is $250,000.

Going into Final Jeopardy on Thursday, Burnett held a slight lead over his opponents, Stephanie Jass of Michigan and Dan McShane of New York.

The category? Russian history, for the world history teacher.

Jackpot. 

According to TV Latest, the clue was, "Launched Oct. 1, 1928, it was brought to a premature end in 1932 amid growing hunger." Burnett's opponents both answered incorrectly, but he nailed it: "What is the 5-Year Plan?" 

That sealed a win and a trip to the finals, where he'll go against two more people on Monday. Jeopardy! airs at 2:30 p.m. (CT) on ABC/Channel 7. 

When Burnett won the hundred grand in November he said he was planning to buy his mother a condo in Oak Park, a big thank-you to the woman who worked nights to afford school for her son. What will he do if he wins the $250,000 prize? We'll follow up if he does.
