SATURDAY, NOV. 24
Residential Burglary
About $6,500 worth of electronic and gaming equipment, cameras and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Harlem Avenue. Entry was gained by breaking the basement window.
FRIDAY, NOV. 23
Walmart Theft
Tiana Williams, 29, of Chicago, was cited under a local ordinance for retail theft after she tried to leave Walmart, 1300 Des Plaines Ave., with a DVD player, a skirt, a baby bottle and a teething toy that she had concealed in her baby's diaper bag, police said. The items were valued at $101.44.
Kmart Theft
Desiree R. Salazar, 36, of Chicago, was cited under a local ordinance for retail theft after she tried to leave Kmart, 7630 Roosevelt Rd., with nail polish, one pack of fake nails, three boxes of cologne and candy that she concealed inside her purse, police said. The items were valued at $93.60.
Out-of-State Warrant
Dantea T. Morrow, 21, of Marshall, MO, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Saline County, MO, on a robbery charge, police said. He was arrest after he was pulled over in the 1000 block of Des Plaines Avenue for not wearing a seat belt, police said.
In-State Warrant
Fernando Carranza-Rangel, 36, of Cicero, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Glen Ellyn for failing to appear in court for a charge of driving without a license, police said. He was apprehended after his 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan was pulled over for speeding in the 7000 block of Roosevelt Road in Oak Park.
Theft
A catalytic converter was taken from a Ford van parked at the U-Haul, 801 Harlem Ave.
THURSDAY, NOV. 22
Theft
Four center hubcaps valued at $250 were stolen from a 2008 Toyota FJ Land Cruiser parked in the 400 block of Des Plaines Avenue.
Public Intoxication
Emmanuel A. Moses, 42, of North Riverside was issued a local ordinance ticket for public intoxication after an officer found him sleeping in his car parked in the 400 block of Beloit Avenue, police said.
Urinating in Public
Jack Valadka, 22, of Elmwood Park, was issued a local ordinance ticket for urinating in public after an officer spotted him standing with his pants unzipped in the doorway of a building in the 7300 block of Madison Street, police said.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 21
Aggravated Assault
Jerzy Andrzejewski, 54, of Chicago, was cited under a local ordinance for aggravated assault after swearing at and threatening to shoot an officer who was trying to clear a CTA Blue Line train of all passengers, police said. Police said that Andrzejewski, who was apprehended at the stop at 711 Des Plaines Ave. and did not have a weapon, was highly intoxicated at the time.

In-State Warrants
Jason M. Oliveros, 27, of Berwyn, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Kendall County for failing to appear in court on a DUI charge, police said. He was pulled over in the area of Harlem Avenue and 14th Street for a traffic violation.
Whiskey Road
Frank E. Svoboda, 29, of Downers Grove, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of DuPage County for failing to appear in court on a domestic battery charge, police said. His car was pulled over in the area of Harlem Avenue and Madison Street, where the officer also found a partially filled bottle of Jack Daniel's Whiskey on the driver's side floor board. Three other empty airline-style sized bottles of Jack Daniel's also were found in the car, police said. Svoboda also was charged with transportation of open liquor and driving on a suspended license.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Dena M. Albano, 30, of Westchester, was issued a local ordinance ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia after her car was pulled over for a traffic violation in the area of Des Plaines Avenue and Monroe Street, police said.
Suspended License
Camelia Salinas, 37, of Cicero was charged with driving on a suspended license after she was pulled over in the 1300 block of Des Plaines Avenue for having dark plastic covers over her license plates, police said. The arresting officer placed her in custody after a name check through the Secretary of State's Office found her license had been suspended for a prior DUI arrest.
Local Ordinance Violations
Rida Lemghari, 49, of Cicero was cited under local ordinance for illegal parking and not having a 2012 safety inspection sticker for his cab, police said. The area Lemghari was parking in on the 7200 block of Circle Avenue was private parking, not a cab stand, police said.
TUESDAY, NOV. 20
Suspended License
Edmond T. Scollard, 25, of Berwyn, was charged with driving on a suspended license, driving without lights and not wearing a seat belt after his car was pulled over in the 400 block of Beloit Avenue, police said.
Reckless Conduct
Daniel M. Rath, 32, of Waukegan, was charged with reckless conduct after swearing and harassing a police officer during a drunken tirade, police said. The arrest took place in the 7600 block of Franklin Avenue. He also was cited under a local ordinance for public intoxication.
Disorderly Conduct
Michelle A. Keaton, 20, of Chicago was issued a local ordinance ticket for disorderly conduct after she threw a cup filled with pop and ice at the back window of another car, police said. After she was apprehended in the 7600 block of Des Plaines Avenue, Keaton told police she believed the other car had cut her off.
