Flavour Cooking School Posts April Calendar

Learn at a culinary boot camp and enjoy "Food & Fiction" featuring New York Times best-selling author Elizabeth Berg.

Are you always looking to try new things in the kitchen? 

Flavour Cooking School in Forest Park gives you that opportunity with a wide variety of classes this April, from DIY Brunch to a Sushi Party. 

The school released its April calendar, which you can view here. The focus is on the spring season—think cherry blossoms, asparagus, lemons, ham and chickens. The April classes will show you culinary styles of Paris, California, Italy and more.

There's also a two-day culinary boot camp offered. It's $240 to spend two days cooking with Chef Brian Min. You'll learn knife basics, stir fry, soups, searing, braising, poaching, grilling, steaming, roasting and pan-frying. Whew, that's a lot! 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13 and 20.

Food & Fiction is another event offered, featuring New York Times best-selling author Elizabeth Berg reading from her novel, Tapestry of Fortunes. Afterward you can learn to make one of the dishes from the reading. A light meal is served.
