What to do at Art Dans la Rue? Downtown Oak Park's French Fest is Aug. 6

Try some wine, see the CanCan dancers, look at (and buy, maybe?) art, eat some crepes and catch the poodle parade Aug. 6 at Art Dans la Rue in downtown Oak Park.

Downtown Oak Park on Tuesday, Aug. 6 will host its annual French street festival, "Art Dans la Rue ANEW!"

The party starts on Marion Street at noon and runs until 9 p.m., featuring music and entertainment all day, art exhibits on the street and in local businesses and plenty of special offerings, including face painting, wine tasting and an actual poodle parade.

Here's a look at what's going on at the event. (From the Downtown Oak Park website)
