Visitation Planned for Christopher Swordy, 22

Christopher Swordy, 22, died Saturday, July 13, after he was struck by a speeding car on Harlem Avenue. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Ascension Church in Oak Park.

Christopher Swordy of Oak Park died Saturday, July 13, after he was struck by a speeding car on Harlem Avenue. He was 22.

Visitation for Swordy will be from 10 a.m. until an 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, July 19 at Ascension Catholic Church, 808 S. East Ave., Oak Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.), 1430 Branding Ln., #104, Downers Grove, IL, 60515.
