'Addicted to Cuties' Tumblr Gets Forest Park Man Busted

An Internet crimes task force found photos and videos of children performing sex acts on a Forest Park man's blog, according to the Cook County state's attorney's office.

The discovery led prosecutors to charge Kenneth Sims, 29, with multiple counts of felony child pornography.

The Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding suspected child pornography on the man's Tumblr blog, titled "Addicted to Cuties."

Forest Park police executed a search warrant on the account, which then led police to seize from Sims more than 15 flash drives of videos and photos of children younger than 13 engaged in sex acts.

Police arrested him on Tuesday, Feb. 25. He appeared in court Thursday and bail was set at $50,000. Sims is due for another appearance in the Maywood Courthouse on March 20.
