Your year wasn't just about crime, though. Folks were glad to see Skrine Chops reopen this fall after a terrible fire - it's just as good as before. This year's peanut butter recall terrified people because of the place that the food has in our diets and those of our children. In addition, you were interested in the stories of locals who reflected on Hurricane Isaac. Then there was the story about the Catahoula Leopard Dog named Lillie that needed a home. Sure hope she finds a permanent one!
