Security Upgraded for Sunday's 2013 Chicago Marathon

Security changes this year will affect runners as well as spectators.

Nearly six months to the day after the fatal bomb blast at Boston's marathon, Chicago officials are increasing security for the 2013 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday.

For example, if you're a spectator hoping to hop on the course to run for a bit in solidarity with a loved one, you're out of luck this year as that's now prohibited.
