Portion of Harlem to Close for Repairs

A portion of Harlem Avenue in Berwyn will be closed July 26-Aug. 3, the Tribune reports.

A portion of Harlem Avenue will close tomorrow, Friday, July 26, and remain closed for railroad repairs until 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, according to the City of Berwyn. 

Harlem will be closed between 26th Street and Longcommon Road. Crews will perform standard maintenance of grade crossings, railway spokesman Patrick Waldron told the Chicago Tribune.

Cermak Road, First Avenue and Ogden Avenue will be used for detour routes, according to the Tribune.
